A special treat for opera beginners and aficionados alike, local tenor Marius Constantin will perform two short arias with accompanist Robin Knutson following the screening of AI WEIWEI’S TURANDOT. Marius Constantin is active on the classical music scene, having sung in various recitals and concerts over the past few years. Most recently he appeared in the Messiah sing-along with the Symphony of the Redwoods. Robin Knutson is a piano accompanist and choral singer. Raquel Taylor, Bay Area singer and now part of the Mendocino Music Festival crew, will join Marius for a conversation about all things opera, Puccini, and Turandot.
